When offering support to those experiencing intense kundalini awakening, it is often helpful to send them to a Master who has the power to modulate the intensity of the experience, particularly if the individual has had a spontaneous awakening without the benefit of a Master's guidance. When this is not possible simply invoking the assistance of such a Master can also be helpful. Studying with such a Master can also deepen one's own inner experience of the kundalini and the Divine Self, providing understanding and inspiration in the work of supporting others.
